The fire incident in the waste pond of the olefin unit of Ilam Petrochemical Plant was completely put out with the timely presence of the fire brigade and the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) forces of the company.<\/div>\n

According to Ilam Petrochemical Company, the incident took place on Wednesday, November 4, was contained and completely extinguished within 25 minutes due to the efforts of the firefighters of the Ilam Petrochemical Company, the gas refinery and the municipalities of Chavar and Ilam.<\/p>\n

The accident took place in the waste pond outside the unit due to a fire of hydrocarbon materials, and fortunately there were no casualties.<\/p>\n

Considering that the pond was outside the olefin unit and operational units, the units were not damaged.<\/p>\n

The reasons for this incident are under investigation and will be announced.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
